How to make Blogger a DoFollow blog

I wanted to make this a DoFollow blog earlier, but I had trouble figuring it out. Why? Seems to be more in keeping with the old way of sharing when the Internet was much younger and not so commercialized.

I am referring to the comments section of the blog. It is important that your good comments (the ones with value) get Google recognition. In other words, you want Google to follow the link back to your website. (linkback)

So, a brainstorm. Google "how to make Blogger a DoFollow blog." Using the results from that search I quickly found out how to do it. But doing it took about half an hour.

Why? Because you need to make a change in the HTML of your site wsith Blogger and take out a snippit of code that says "nofollow". It's not that easy to find.

Here is what you need to do: 1. go to your dashboard-->Layout-->Edit HTML-->check Expand Widget Templates, There you will see the HTML code. About 1/3 the way down you will see rel='nofollow'

Take out the rel='nofollow' code and save.

There you have it.
